    •  The AAC/ Area 9 Venturing Olympics are coming up. It will be from April 24-26 at Woodruff Scout Reservation. It will be a great time to meet venturers from all over North Georgia and Alabama, as well as have fun with all the events available. Registration is $15. Welcome to the online home of Venture Crew 43

Congratulations to our very own Ms. Veeneman for receiving the Silver Beaver Award from the Atlanta Area Council for recognition of supporting and enchancing the Scouting program in the council and exceptional scouting.

Venture crew for co-ed teens ages 14-20. Focused on high adventure, eco-friendliness, and building leadership skills. All activities are planned and run by the crew youth with guidance from crew advisors. Meetings are on the second week of the month on Tuesdays.

Our Approach

The crew is led by the venturing youth under the Crew Cabinet. The venturers plan and execute the activities under the guidance of crew advisers. This way, it will build more leadership and decision-making skills for the future. We encourage leadership training through ILSC (Intro to Leadership Skills for Crews), NYLT (National Youth Leadership Training), Kodiak, Wood Badge (for venturers from 18-21), and Powderhorn. The crew also goes to high adventure bases like Philmont and Sea Base.
